Summer at Newmarket means the magic of the July Course. Racing takes place here from mid-June to the end of August in an oasis of sun dappled lawns, open air bars, magnificent beech trees, flourishing flowers, thatched roofs, historic grandstands and sparkling new facilities behind the stands following the £10m enlargement and redevelopment of this area in 2007.

Facilities at this course
Aphrodite Enclosure
Located either alongside the race track adjacent to the winning post or by the Parade Ring, the stylish marquees offer a close up view of the horses and the racing action. Each marquee has its own garden area and viewing frontage.
The Aphrodite Enclosure marquees are located with excellent views of the racing and offer a good position to enjoy the post racing entertainment on Newmarket Nights. The marquees can be divided to create private entertaining spaces for a wide range of party sizes.
The Summer House Restaurant

The Summer House is the stylish new restaurant within the main grandstand at the heart of the Premier Enclosure. It has a stunning air conditioned conservatory extension and is located a short walk from the viewing stands and Winners’ Enclosure. The food and service are excellent with a four course lunch and afternoon tea served at daytime
meetings.
