The new state of the art racecourse at Meydan takes horseracing to a completely new level. There are two tracks; a 1750m All Weather track and a 2400m turf track. The multi billion dollar grandstand offers unprecedented standards of luxury with 60,000 seating capacity. There will also be a 5 Star hotel, marina, IMAX cinema, six haut cuisine restaurants and a museum. To coincide with the opening, prize money for the Dubai World Cup has been increased to US$10 million.
