The Cheltenham Open 2008

The Cheltenham Open is one of the highlights of the Autumn diary, with Saturdays Paddy power Gold Cup being the highlight.

Friday is the immensely popular Countryside raceday, Falconry displays, hound parades and over 80 trade stands in the Open village should give you plenty to do before and during some first class racing so an early entrance is strongly advised.

In addition to first class fields, the race meeting also showcases the seasons first Cross Country Steeplechase over a unique course of hedges, banks and timber rails. A marvelous sporting occasion enjoyed by over 20,000 people.

This meeting is one of my personal favourites and gives plenty of pointers for the Festival itself.

A really great way to party and enjoy yourself prior to the Christmas mayhem. Come and relax with colleagues and friends. You are promised a great days entertainment!
