The Prix de L`Arc de Triomphe Lucien Barriere is run each year on the first Sunday in October over the classic 2400-metre distance. Each year, thousands of racing fans flock to Longchamp from all over the world to witness what is generally considered to be the ultimate test for thoroughbreds.

We have a golf tournament planned at Chantilly, one of Europe's finest golf courses for the Friday/Saturday. The winners will be our guests at next years Arc, we have limited places available so please contact us for details.

5^th October 2008

Departing St Pancras around 0700hrs in a 1^st Class compartment you enjoy a champagne breakfast as you speed to Paris on the Eurostar.

You are met at Gare Du Nord and taken for a short sightseeing tour of the beautiful city of Paris.

By lunchtime you are at Longchamps where places have been arranged in the prestigous Village d'honneur.

After a drinks reception you will have a gourmet lunch accompanied by fine wines and licqueurs. There are complimentary drinks all afternoon and you can watch the top class racing from either the terrace at the Village or from a reserved seat in the VIP Grandstand.

Afternoon tea is served in the Village and after racing you are driven back to Gare Du Nord where you return to the UK by First class Eurostar.

Friday 3rd October

1^st class Eurostar from Waterloo to Paris where clients are met by limousine and transferred to the 4 star Superior Astor St Honore. Ideally located in the heart of Paris, near the Madeline and close to all sights and shops. The hotel is chic and sophisticated, and has a famous restaurant with 2 Michelin stars.

Saturday 4^th October

Free in Paris. Transfers to the races an option (and recommended as these are all Group One/Two races in a very relaxed atmosphere).

5^th October

Limousine transfers to races, complete with hospitality package at either the Gladiateur Restaurant or the Village. (for details see below)

6^th October

Limousine to Gare Du Nord for 1^st class Eurostar to Waterloo
